What this policy covers

This policy applies to information you share with us through this website, our contact and registration forms, email, phone and WhatsApp, our portfolio analyser, and our client dashboard and mobile app. It also applies to information we need in order to open and manage your mutual fund investments.

Information you give us

• Name, email address, mobile number and any message you send us, including a preferred time to call.
• Information needed to invest, such as your PAN, date of birth, address, bank account details, nominee details, income and tax-residency (FATCA) declarations, and KYC documents.
• Details about your finances and goals that you choose to share with us so we can recommend suitable funds.
• Consolidated Account Statements (CAS) or other statements you send us, or upload to our portfolio analyser, which show your existing investments.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical information when you visit our website, such as your browser, device type, approximate location and the pages you view, collected through cookies and similar tools.

Why we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation.
• To complete KYC and account opening, as required by SEBI, KYC registration agencies, fund houses and their registrars.
• To place and track your transactions with fund houses, their registrars (such as CAMS and KFintech) and exchange transaction platforms.
• To analyse your portfolio, prepare reviews and reports, and make recommendations suited to your needs.
• To send you service messages about your investments, such as transaction confirmations and review reminders.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including record-keeping and anti-money-laundering rules.
• To understand how our website is used, so we can improve it.

We will send you market updates or other non-essential messages only if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We share your information only where it is needed to serve you or where the law requires it:

• Fund houses (AMCs), their registrars and transfer agents, KYC registration agencies, and exchange transaction platforms, to process your investments.
• Technology partners who provide our client dashboard, mobile app, website hosting, and statement-processing services, such as reading the CAS files you upload. They may use your information only to provide these services to us.
• Regulators, courts, government or law enforcement authorities, when we are legally required to.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Aadhaar

If Aadhaar is used as part of your KYC verification, it is used only in the manner and to the extent permitted by law, and not for any other purpose.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you are our client, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to, for example under anti-money-laundering and securities regulations. Enquiries that do not lead to an account are deleted when we no longer need them.

How we protect it

We take reasonable security measures, both technical and organisational, to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Access is limited to the people and partners who need it. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will inform you as required by law if a breach affects you.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• Ask for a summary of the personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
• Ask us to correct, complete or update your information.
• Ask us to delete your information, except where we are legally required to keep it.
• Withdraw consent you have given us. This will not affect anything done before you withdrew it, and may mean we can no longer provide some services.
• Raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied with our response, with the Data Protection Board of India.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
